MCOs that follow the Ohio Department of Medicaid rates are reducing rates after a certain number of units are billed – reducing by 50% after 6 units of 97151 and 20% after 2 units of 97153, 97155, and 97156 on already unreasonably low rates. We know that Molina is following this; are any other OH Medicaid providers experiencing a reduction in rates? Has anyone else experienced this in another location? It’s important for healthcare providers to be aware of these policies and understand the terms and conditions to avoid unexpected reductions in reimbursement rates.
